Help with car repairs for low income families

A lot of people who own a vehicle struggle to make the payments on the insurance and other taxes. When the vehicle breaks down low income families experience a lot of hardship. I thought it would be a good idea to list some resources to help low income families to get free repairs on their cars. If you can think of anything that will help vehicle owners with free repairs, free gas or discounted insurance and breakdown please feel free to add to this thread.

The Car Ministry is a non profit organization which help with car repairs for low income families. The non-profit organization accepts donations and offers free vehicles to religious workers who need to get around. You might be eligible for grants and bursaries from the Brevard County Florida Community Action Agency if you need free car repairs for low income families. The non profit organization offer parts and labour to get your vehicle up and running again.

This is an excellent video I found on YouTube which explains the Employment Transportation Assistance Program for Alexander County. Most States and Counties in the USA offer Transportation Assistance and on occasion free car repairs for low income families.
