Can you pay property taxes with credit card?

A personal finance question! I'm having some short term cash flow problems and my taxes are due. Can you pay property taxes with a credit card? I've done some research online and many people are against it. I have money coming in but not enough at the moment to cover the tax bill which I want to pay off in one go. Has anyone paid their property taxes with a credit card and was the payment accepted? Also will paying property tax with your credit card harm your credit score? I really trust the community on this forum which is why I'm asking these questions. Thanks
