Donald is quite active on the site and he has helped lots of people with worthy causes. I would definitely post something for Christmas and see what happens.

The Salvation Army has been mentioned on this forum previously, however, it's worth mentioning again. The Salvation army is one of the most active charities during Christmas. They go out of their way to help needy families, low income families and homeless people. If you contact them early they might be able to help you.
