Family needs some help

I am 53 yr old family man that has run into some bad times. Health and work problems prevent christmas for first time. 3 children and wife. Anyone?

I am writing you due to a financial hardship. I am a father to my amazing, beautiful 9 year old daughter. I am also a husband to my wonderful darling wife, who is 33 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately I became ill and disabled in September 2015 with medical issues losing the use of my right arm, causing me to be out of work 4 months so far without any income. I've undergone two surgeries since October with no improvement. In addition I have also had several test and seen 4 specialist about my medical condition, in which doctors advised my recovery will be long and slow, could be 18-24 months before I see any change in my condition, if any at all. The physicians have advised me to file for long term disability to permeant disability. This is a long drawn out process that may take up to a year before I start receiving a check if it's approved.

My wife has struggled with gestational diabetes, preterm labor and hospitalized last week. She has been trying her best to continue to work as our only income source, but now she has been placed on complete bedrest. This will hopefully prevent our unborn child of being born early and suffering from complications. However, this now places both of us off work without any income. She is on FMLA, but does not have any short term disability. We have managed to maintain our house and car payment through November, but have used all our money, including selling some of our items, we have completely exhausted both savings and checking accounts.

It saddens me to have to ask for anything from anyone, for I am a strong-willed man and I believe you should work and earn what you need in life. Unfortunately, I can't work, so I ask with a heavy heart and as a humbled man to please find a giving blessing within your heart to help me and my family through this most difficult time.

This is my worst nightmare to be hurt cant work with a pregnant wife and its Christmas time, not being able to provide the needs for my family, not to mention buying Christmas presents. This is and has been the lowest of lows in my life. I have prayed and prayed for God to help me through this most difficult time and I fully believe God has a plan for me and my family.

I can't explain what a blessing this would be for me and my loved ones. I cherish my family as they are my life, my every purpose. Therefore, I bow my head in prayer and ask you and God for help.
