Foundations that help with medical bills

Are there any foundations that help with medical bills? I need help paying existing hospital and medical bills. I have been unwell for the last few months and have needed hospital treatment and medicine and now I've been lumbered with a big bill which I'm afraid I cant pay. I don't want to further ruin my credit score by declaring myself bankrupt so please help me. If anyone knows of any foundations that help with medical bills please let me know.
