Free cars for low income families in maryland

Does anyone know of any charities which free cars for low income families in Maryland. I don't want to bore anyone with my story but we are a low income family with an urgent need for transportation assistance for work and school. My husband works days and I work night and commuting is a struggle. Having a car would mean we could commute to work and drop and pick the kids up from school and drop them off at the Grandparents. Please help, we are right on the Federal Poverty Line and need assistance.
