Free cars for low income families in new york

Does anyone know where I can find free cars for low income families in New York. I am on a very low income and I'm responsible for a big household. My wife works as well and our life is hard but we persevere. What would be really helpful is knowing how to apply for a donated car in the State on New York.

I saw another thread where about donated cars and thought there must be some vehicle assistance available in New York. I am on a low income and both my partner and I work. We have 6 children under the age of 11 and we live in poor accommodation. Most of our money goes on rent and we cannot afford a car. Please can you offer us some help. Thanks in ADVANCE!
