Google are offering free money in the form of The Generation Google Scholarship. The program offers education and scholarship programs which aim to inspire and help students to become future pioneers in computing and technology. If you're interested in computing and technology and have a background in the subject and are talented, you could get free money from Google in the form of a scholarship.

If you are successful you will receive $10,000 from Google in the USA and $5000 in Canada. As part of the scholarship requirements, current high school seniors entering their first year of university in 2017-2018 will be required to attend Google’s Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI) in the summer next year (2017).

Who is Eligible for Free Money from Google

- You must be enrolled as undergraduate for 2016-17 academic year
- Make arrangements to be enrolled into full-time course in US or Canada for 2017-18 academic year
- Must be taking computer science or computer engineering degree
- Show passion for computer science and technology
- Have strong academic achievement
- Be a student in an underrepresented group
