Getting Help With Christmas from the Salvation Army 2013

I was wondering if anyone's tried getting help from the Salvation Army during Christmas 2013. I know it's two months away but I wanted to get all the help I can so I can give my children a magical Christmas. 2013 has been full of misfortune for me, the last thing I want to do is complain however I want to put 2013 behind us so we can move on. This is the first time I'm contacting the Salvation army for help so if anyone can give me some advice or guidance on whether I can get help with food, toys, clothes, decoration, tree and all things Christmassy I would be really thankful. If anyone knows of any other charities that can help us please let us know. I really need financial assistance and I can prove that I'm on a low income with no savings. Please help! Thanks.

Thanks for the information, I just checked the site out and it looks promising. I have found my local Salvation Army and I will contact them today. Will keep everyone posted on any help I get. Thanks
