Help stop foreclosure on my home

Please can someone help stop foreclosure on my home. I have been unable to pay my mortgage for over 6 months now because I had to leave my job for medical reasons. I did not have any health insurance and the debt kept mounting up. I have no assets and no savings apart from my home which is upside down with negative equity. If the bank were to repossess my property I would still own them money and I would have to go bankrupt to clear the debt. I worked so hard to buy my home and now it is going to be taken away. Please can someone help stop foreclosure on my home, are there any charities, foundations or Government programs that can help me? I have another 60 days to sort this out before foreclosure proceedings start.
