How much money can you make from Forex trading? I was doing a little research online and found a lot of people turning to Forex trading to make money. There are some people who are making as much as 500 dollars per day and some who make even more. I'm looking for a way to make 1000 dollars a month and Forex Trading seems to fit the criteria. I would use this money to pay off all my debt. What I wanted to know is how do I start Forex Trading? How much money do I need to start? and how can I practice before I invest? I'm very patient and have been known to be 'emotionless' so I'm suited to this type of investing. If anyone does have any experience in this field I wanted to know how much money can you make from Forex Trading. Looking forward to some insights.

How much money you can make on Forex trading depends on how much time you can allocate to analysis. To be able to make $1000 dollars a day will take time. You must also remember that you can lose more than your initial investment if you are not careful. I make about 500 dollars a week on average with Forex and it has taken me over 24 months to achieve this. What you need to do is put in the initial groundwork to make Forex trading successful. This is how I started

1. Learn fundamental analysis (Especially Economic Indicators)
2. Learn technical analysis (Chart patterns, Indicators, candlesticks)
3. Learn Money Management (how to trade by minimizing risk)
4. Pick 3 pairs of Forex, Euros, Dollars, Sterling
5. Start a demo account and practice trading
6. Pick trades with 3:1 risk reward
7. Understand stop loss and take profit
8. Do not over leverage yourself

You can start trading with 1000 dollars and you can leverage your money depending on your level of experience. Some brokers offer 50:1 leverage which is just mind boggling. In my opinion you should start with a demo account once you've done all the ground work. I traded using a demo account for 12 months before I was confident with a strategy.
