I need 600 dollars today - please help me!

I need 600 dollars by today. I borrowed some money from a loan shark and now they want payment otherwise I will have to 'pay' in other ways. I'm not sure where to turn to and I'm desperate. I will never borrow from a loan shark ever. The debt started off at 200 dollars and because I could not pay two days ago it has risen to 600. Every day that goes by the debt will rise by 200 dollars. I want to pay this off immediately. My credit score is poor so cant borrow money from the bank. Please help!

Yikes. Sounds like scary stuff. OK, this is what I would do if I need 600 dollars by today. First off I would ask my friends and family for financial help, I would swallow my pride and tell them that I'm in trouble and need help getting these people off my back.

I would then try and sell anything of value that I had to raise the money quickly. Best way would be to take items to a pawn store and return with some cash. Electronics and jewelry would fetch the most money. I would even think about selling my car to raise the cash.

If you still cant get to 600 dollars you should go to the Police for protection. Loan sharks can be nasty people and the Police should offer protection. I really hope this help.

I feel for you. I think @Sadia sums it up pretty well, sell stuff and ask friends and family if you need the money quickly. If i need 600 dollars by today I would also ask religious organization for help. Most of these religious organizations have discretionary funds to help people in need. Go to your local Church and ask for help and see what they can do. I hope things work out. You could also try selling blood and plasma to make up any shortfall.
