I need help

Hello,
I am at the end of my rope and do not know where to turn. I am 53 and have not been able to work. My surgeon at Emory has recommended 3 surgeries. The major one is Scoliosis surgery. I require a cane to walk and I have a chair in my shower so I can sit. I cannot afford my surgeries and my husband is doing everything he can to keep us afloat. I worked from the time I was 16 until 2 years ago when my body turned on me. We had decent insurance until 7/18 when the company my husband had worked for, for 18 years had a major layoff and we could not afford the cobra insurance. I now have insurance through marketplace (government) which we have a ridiculous deductible before they will pay. Thus not being able to afford my surgeries. With all of my medical bills and not being able to work for so long it has taken its toll on us financially. I would love to be able to work again and become independent again. It is not east depending on everyone for everything. I have applied for disability but it is a long hard process and I am afraid we will lose our home before I get a hearing date. We have already received an intent to foreclose letter. I do not like asking for money but it is simply where I am at this point in my life. My entire mindset has changed since my world has been turned upside down. If you can help me it will be appreciated or if you have any suggestions it will be appreciated as well. I simply need help.
