    I am not one to ask for help but I'm in need of some financial help. I have been out of a job since last year. I can't find a job. I live with my girlfriend. She is on disability but we are so in debt that we can barely pay the bills. I have had people offering to help online before but they turned out to be Nigerian scammers. So if you're not for real please don't respond to me.

    Hello, @linsey and welcome to The Find Some Money Forum. I am sorry to hear about your financial circumstances. If you've lost your job through no fault of your own you should be eligible for unemployment benefit. I would urge you to go to the USA.Gov website to research welfare benefits you may be eligible for. You should be able to apply for Food Stamps, Unemployment benefits, Rental Assistance and much more.
