Please help with college tuition

    Good day,
    I am in great need of help.
    From my mom had a stroke a few years back I am responsible for my younger.
    My younger sister should have started college last year but because of financial reasons, she was not able to.
    She has reapplied for college and should begin at the end of next month (August). However, my funds are really low and I need some financial assistance or else she will not be able to start college in the month to come.
    The tuition fee is approx $4500 US for the year and I would appreciate any help I can get.

    Hello, @Sara Brown and welcome to The Find Some Money Forum. Getting an education is one way to fish poverty and I always encourage everyone to study and further their education.

    One way you could raise money is through a scholarship program. There are many programs in the US that offer financial assistance to gifted students. You can try applying to these programs to see if you can get help for your sister. You will be able to find and search for USA Scholarships on the link below.

    You should also consider student loans. ADmitedly, the last thing you want is to be straddled by debt but if your sister can obtain a decent education she could pay off the debt quickly. Check out if you are eligible on the link below.
