I want to know how to sell my invention ideas. I have always been a thinker and I'm always looking at new inventions to make peoples lives a little bit easier. I am not the kind of person who can take an idea and then make it into a product. I wanted to know if there are any places where I could sell my business ideas upfront or to sell the idea and get equity in the company? Thanks in advance.

The best way to sell your invention idea is to contact companies direct. You could try selling your ideas to invention companies who buy ideas but you won't get a lot of money. The best ideas only fetch around $500 dollars. If you really believe in your idea you need to do the following.

1. Make a prototype of your idea
2. Do a patent search on Google.com/Patents
3. Patent the invention if you can afford it
4. Make a list of 20 reputable companies who might benefit from the idea
5. Create a pitch for the invention
6. Ask to meet representatives of the business
7. Make sure the representatives sign a non-disclosure agreement
8. Pitch the idea
