Where can i get free computers, laptops, tablets for low income families

I was hoping someone could help me. I am on a very low income and on welfare and food stamps. I have a large family and making ends meet is very hard. I need a computer/laptop or tablet for my family so they can become computer literate. I welcome any suggestions. I also need the computer to try and educate myself so I can find better paid opportunities. Please any helpful advice would be appreciated.

When I needed a laptop I turned to charity shops for help. Charity shops accept donated laptops and computers and then sell them on. Occasionally they give them away for free if they feel the computer will help you out. I went to my local charity shop and asked for help. I explained to them that I was out of a job and needed a laptop to find another position as most recruitment nowadays are done online. The charity shop were more that happy to give me a free laptop to keep. Its worth a try, see what happens.
