You have a clear idea of what to do with the money so my advice to you would be to make this amount of money yourself. I would recommend you read books like:

1. Think and Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill
2. The Millionaire Fast Lane - MJ DeMarco
3. Rich Dad Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki

These books will help you tap into the entrepreneurial part of your brain and unleash earning capacity. You should also work on your personal finance by minimizing costs and maximizing income.

You should also read inspirational blogs about entrepreneurs who have made vast amounts on money from their ideas, this will give you the inspiration and motivation to make money.

You can email millionaires and billionaires for money but the chances of getting funds is low because you are not in the 'At Risk' category. You can contact charities for help and they are more than likely to point you in the right direction. For additional money you should consider getting help from the Government. If you've lost your job through no fault of your own you could apply for unemployment benefit.
